our goal

Although there is no current cure for CF, real progress in the fight against CF has been made (see recent links via our twitter page to the right). However, the lives of young people with the disease are still cut far too short. This year, the seventh annual Crawl for a Cure has a fundraising goal of $10,000 -- please help us reach our goal! Making a donation is easy and secure.  Just follow the link above or visit the "EVENTS" tab to donate and/or purchase your Crawl for a Cure ticket.

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

Once a donation is received, this may take 1-2 business days to update.

cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that (i) clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections and (ii) obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.  Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. However, we continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, visit www.cff.org.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with CF! Thank you for supporting our mission!
